Do you want to beat up a white girl? 46-year-old Christina Lab Boy shouted at Palm Beach County deputies after being pulled over for speeding more than 100 miles per hour. What began as a simple DUI stop quickly spiraled into racial rants, violent resistance, and a deputy leaving with injuries. >> I did have a glass of wine. I'm not going to lie. >> A glass of wine? >> I did. Yes. Sorry. You're American in America. Dumb want to talk [ __ ] to me. You little funny keeping your mouth shut cuz you're recording. I know you're recording me, but did you get her talking [ __ ] to me? That little I'lling the [ __ ] on you, you little douchebag. >> All right. >> On February 24th, 2024, Palm Beach County deputies stopped a gray Kia SUV after clocking it at over 100 mph on US Highway. Behind the wheel was 46-year-old Christina Leo, who admitted she'd had a glass of wine earlier that night. Deputies noted a faint odor of alcohol, but her field sobriety results didn't give them enough probable cause to charge her with DUI. [Music] [Music] >> 77 Echo Lima Yankee Charlie. It's on a Kia SUV northbound 441 just south of Forest show. >> Hi, how you doing? >> I am so sorry. Like I'm just trying to go back to my hotel and I know I was speeding. I'm so sorry. >> You got your driver license, registration proof, and insurance? Um, >> where you coming from? >> Huh? I was at an Airbnb where my son is at. He plays football. So, I'm here. >> So, we're here for his seven on seven football team. >> Okay. >> And I came from where they were staying and I'm going back to my place. >> Okay. You have your driver license, registration, insurance? >> I do, but I think it's in the back. >> In the back where? Put the windows down for me. >> The window is down. >> The back windows. Put all the windows down. Shoot. Where in the back is it? >> I mean, oh my god. >> I hope I didn't leave it at the house. Can I get out and look or >> You don't know where it is? >> I thought it was here, but it is not. Oh, here it is. I'm sorry. Here it is. It fell on the floor. >> Oh my god. Please. Like, um I just want to get back to my Airbnb. >> Well, how much have you had to drink tonight? >> I did have a glass of wine. I'm not going to lie. You >> need a glass of wine? >> I did. Yes. >> How long ago was that? >> An hour ago. >> All right. You have the registration insurance. >> This is a rental. >> It's a rental. You have a rental agreement. >> Please don't. >> I'm sorry. Like, please don't like >> Well, I mean, you're going well over 100 mph. You didn't even realize you passed me and you're swerving all over the road, so I mean, it's kind of a problem right now. >> No, I know. It was more that I was looking at the GPS trying to figure out where I was going. >> All right, Christina, can you step out for me? >> Yes. >> Is the car in park? >> Yes, it is. >> All right, we're going to go right up here. >> Oh my god. Okay. Right to the front of your car. Just step up there for me. Turn to face me. >> Where? >> Right here. Step right there. Right. Turn to face me. All right. What I'm going to ask you to do is to perform some field soriety exercises. Okay. >> Okay. >> I want to make sure that you're safe to drive. >> That's fine. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> So, what I need you to do is put your feet together, arms down to your side. All right. And the only thing I need you to do right now, keep your head straight. >> Okay. >> I Okay. >> All right. Just keep your head straight and follow the pin with your eyes only. >> There you go. right here. >> I'm sorry. Like I like really see it. Like >> Say it again. >> I said I can see it. Like I just can't like really follow it. But I'm >> Okay. Do you have any issues with your eyes? >> I have contacts in. >> You have contacts in? >> Yes. >> But your eyes are fine. You don't have any other issues? >> No, I don't. But like sometimes it's like hard to follow like but I can follow it. >> Okay. All right. Here's what I want you to do. Take your left foot. Put your left foot in the middle of that white line. In the middle of it. There you go. You're going to put your right foot in front of your left foot. Heel to toe. All right. Go ahead. You can begin the task if you understand it or you don't have any questions. >> No, I got it. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 nine. Turn around. Right. >> All right. Come up here a little bit. Stay on the line. All right. So, here's the deal. Is there someone that can come pick you up? >> You have someone that can pick you up? My son can. >> Your son can pick you up? Yeah. >> He hasn't been drinking tonight. >> No. My gosh. No. >> Okay. I don't think you're impaired to the point that I should arrest you, but you are impaired enough that I'm not going to let you drive away from here. So, if you want to call your son and have them come pick your car up, pick you up, I will allow that to happen. What I will say is once you get to your hotel, okay, and he leaves you there, don't take your car out again. I I mean I have no reason I'm only here for my son who plays football. Like there's no other reason for me to be here. >> Okay. >> Yeah. There. >> All right. Where's your phone? >> In my car. >> All right. >> Or in my rental car. >> All right. And go ahead and grab your phone. Call your son. [Applause] Deputies planned on simply letting her call a family member to pick her up. But as the minutes went by, Le Boy became increasingly belligerent, argumentative, and began accusing deputies of targeting her because of her race. >> Hello. >> Hey. Um, where about are you? >> Okay. So, listen. I got pulled over. Um, and they're not going to let me drive. So, if you can like come where I'm at. >> I know. It's so crazy. Like, it's so ridiculous. >> Uh, yeah. I mean, are you going to be able to send me your location? >> Um, I was trying to send it to you earlier and I I couldn't figure out how to send it to you. >> You're on Forest Hill Boulevard and 441, just south of the intersection. Forest Hill Boulevard >> and 441 >> and 441 >> just south of the intersection. >> Just south of the intersection. If that means anything to you, I don't know. >> Is there like Can I like pull in like at least like somewhere? No. Okay. >> Can you uh >> Huh? >> You're jamming. >> I'm sorry. What did you say? >> I said you're jamming. Yeah. I don't know. Like it's it's so ridiculous. Um. >> All right. All right. Okay. Can you turn that down though? Tell me what >> So, let me hold I'll text you the address. Hold on one second. So, what is it? >> Forest Hillto Boulevard. >> Wait, hold on. Forest Hill Boulevard. Uh-huh. >> And US 441. >> And Oh, I've been hearing that. 441. >> Did your friend live here? >> Yeah. >> All right. She's right in front of the Wellington Mall >> on 441. >> I don't know if you heard him. >> I I kind of look >> Okay. >> All right. >> Do you know where it's at? >> Yeah. >> I And I'm so sorry. I know. It's so weird for us to like meet like this. It's just so bizarre. And if you have someone that you can bring to drive her vehicle, that would be perfect. That way we don't have to tow it. >> I I definitely >> That's okay. Just come and like we'll figure it out after. He doesn't have anyone to do that. So what I'm going to do is like when he comes I'm going to go get my son. >> Who's going to go get your son? when he picks me up, we'll get my son to come pick me up. >> Okay. All right. That sounds a lot better. >> Yeah, it does. >> Yeah, my son is like I literally just left where he's at. >> Okay. >> Uh and we'll uh I'll >> All right. I'll see you in a little bit then. You've got indicators of impairment, but not enough for me to arrest you and take you to gun club. Okay. So, I'm going to I'm going to let you slide tonight. You're going to go home. >> You're not letting me slide. Like, >> you are you're not getting arrested. You're not getting a ticket >> because there's like you just said, there's not enough for you to do that. >> There's enough for me to tell you not to drive your vehicle, >> right? And I'm not going to drive it. That's why I called my son. >> That's why I said we're letting you slide. We're not taking >> That's not letting me slide. >> We're not arresting you >> because you don't have enough. That's what you're saying. Like it doesn't make sense. >> Ma'am, why are you still arguing with me? I'm just telling you. >> I'm not arguing with you. I'm not arguing with you. >> You just said I'm letting her know that there's not enough for me to let you >> to take you to jail. Something to do. >> There's enough to detain you and do the roadside. >> Anyway, you just said there was not enough. That's all I'm saying. >> Yeah. Which is why that's why you're not a handcuff, >> right? Okay. That's all I'm saying. So, you're not letting me slide. It's just that you don't have enough. That's all. >> And I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm just That's what you said to me. >> Okay. >> I mean, just understand. >> I don't know if it's a black and white factor here cuz you guys play that not in front of me. But you guys play that. >> You don't you don't even know who was pulling you over. It could have been anybody. So, how do you play that? Now that you did, but now that you did, now that you did, I know >> that's so disrespectful on so many levels. You don't know for you to say that to him. It is for you to say that to me. You don't know my background. You don't know his background. >> First of all, I wasn't talking to you. >> I don't care. You're talking to my partner. Let's get that first fact. Christina, have a seat on the passenger side. Out of the road. Come on this or come on this side. >> Come out of the road. Your car is far over the way for me. >> Yeah, it's keeping people from running us over. So, come on over here. >> Disrespect you for a second. >> Come over here. Out of the roadway, Christina. Christina, come over here. That's why we're standing over here so we don't get run over. >> Disrespect me. The whole interaction has been recorded. >> That's fine. Yep. That's fine. George Floyd. Yep. >> Mhm. >> As deputies waited for her son to arrive, Le Boy turned her frustration on Deputy Hastings, hurling insults, racial accusations, and profanity. Deputies moved in to place her under arrest. But Le Boy did not go quietly. While being forced into the back of the patrol vehicle, she repeatedly kicked, striking one deputy in the hand hard enough to draw blood. >> Don't disrespect me. I did not disrespect you. Don't Don't you dare disrespect me. No, I did not. >> No arguing. >> No, I did. Oh, now you want to be quiet, right? Yep. Uh-huh. I'm going to tell you what. Deputies recommended multiple charges, including battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, and corruption by threat. Though prosecutors later dismissed the case in exchange for a six-month pre-trial intervention program, Leo's behavior that night turned what could have been a simple ride home into a violent arrest caught on camera.
