on December 8th 2022 in Marshfield Wisconsin officers were called to a local Walmart in response to reports of a male engaged in shoplifting upon arrival a loss prevention associate informed the officers that the suspect had been concealing knives in his backpack and was still present within the store the associate also noted that the same individual had been caught attempting theft a month prior during which another associate had been forcibly pushed against a wall hi where is he uh he's still running around the store he keeps running between out there to the back bathrooms kitchen knives and then back to sporting GS how old is this guy by the Guess probably mid-30s me and tried stopping him I want to say last month and he actually shoved her into a the breakway doors knocked them off the track when we went to approach them a camouflage coat or sweatshirt was it like a jacket with a camel backpack on Blue Jeans White Shoes what color is the coat camel camel Y and then it's got a black hood okay where was he last seen back by the bathrooms yeah and then he started snaking back up this way and then I saw you guys okay is there a way you can get out on the backside probably not huh unless he goes through like employees stuff yeah no it'll just be out the front two doors he last time he had a bluewin bike he had tucked like up against the building right outside the doors okay well we'll stick with you if you want to try to find him since we have no idea what he looks like yeah I two more weight on the doors yeah right here hey come here stop stop he's running stop noop sir a bystander assisted in the initial takedown of the suspect you okay y I'm fine get a hand up on get his bik your no no no stop he behind your back now behind your back got taser I got it let me know wi get in the light he's him [Music] go sa him again a stop resisting need more keep it in your back he's on theing are you done try to get stop Marshall can we get you a m you times everybody okay yep search and for weapons it'll be a few minutes don't even think about moving Andrew roll your squat up right here so we're rolling the squad up are you done fighting yeah all right appreciate it is there any weapons on you yeah where my B but on in your pockets or sweatshirt no all right so we're going to roll your side we stand you up and walk to the squad okay okay we're going to roll towards me get your knees under you ahead hold on I didn't get the rest all right we're going to standing up do you have anything on you I need know about no any weapons no any any that's going to poke me or hurt me at all [Applause] no open up your mouth you got broken teeth or anything no turn your light over all right Seth going hurt for a second okay grab a [Applause] cartridge all right up in the car we're going to deal with that stuff the [Applause] okay made of bloody nose oh all right sir you sure not injured at all oh no I'm not injured yeah I'll send somebody with you well I'm sorry I didn't mean to interfere yeah Bob no no you wanted to make sure you didn't get hurt at all or anything but no and basically were you coming in or leaving I was coming in and I saw him running I saw the officer go up against him and he started fighting the officer so I tried pulling him back and then uh I went down and he fell over at that time I saw a knife which I pushed off to the side Seth was taken to the Marshfield Medical Center ER for medical clearance before being taken to jail he was charged with resisting an officer causing soft tissue injury carrying a concealed knife retail theft under $500 disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer all charges were repeat offenses according to court records he was found guilty of retail theft disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer
