Upon arrival, a loss prevention associate informed the officers that the suspect had been concealing knives in his backpack and was still present within the store. The associate also noted that the same individual had been caught attempting theft a month prior, during which another associate had been forcibly pushed against a wall. It took multiple officers, and a bystander to initially takedown of the suspect, named Seth. Multiple tazers were deployed to subdue Seth before he was cuffed and placed in the back of a squad car. Seth was taken to the Marshfield Medical Center ER for medical clearance before being taken to jail. He was charged with resisting an officer, causing soft tissue injury, carrying a concealed knife, retail theft, under $500, disorderly conduct, and resisting or obstructing an officer. All charges were repeat offenses according to court records.
