start until I tell you to begin do you understand all right when I tell you to begin you're going to take nine heel the toe steps forward nine yep your ninth step you're going to leave that foot planted and with your other foot you're going to take a short series of steps to turn around and walk nine heel to pill steps back I'm going to demonstrate it to you okay I'm just giving you the instructions and now I'm going to demonstrate it but I need you to get back in that position that's a hard position to hold foot okay especially when I just got into that okay go ahead arms on your side okay stay in that position okay again when I tie to begin nine Heel To Toe steps forward look at me okay it's going to look like this one 2 3 all the way to nine remember your ninth step that foot stays planted other foot you're going to take a short series of steps just like I am turn yourself back around and you're going to walk nine heel the toe step back back 1 2 3 all the way to 9 you understand so far yeah okay while doing this test arms need to remain down to your side heel the toe you need to look down at your feet you listening yeah I am okay you feet you need to look down at your feet and count each step out loud so I can hear you do you understand y once you started this test I don't want you to stop until you completed it just how I have instructed sure do you have any you're going to point your toe so it's parallel to the ground both of your legs are going to remain straight arms are going to be down to your side you're going to look down at the foot that you have arrange for a physic a licensed nurse or laboratory technician or technologist who is employed by a hospital or physician of your own choice to perform an additional chemical test the cost of this additional test will be paid by the law enforcement agency do you agree to take our test no I cannot force you to to take our test but if you refuse you will lose your New Mexico driver's license or non-resident operating privileges for one year if you are convicted in court of driving well under the influence you may also receive a greater sentence because you refuse to be tested do you
