On September 20, 2023, officers responded to a residence for a call of a domestic dispute. According to police bodycam footage, a 21-year-old pregnant woman was involved in an argument with her mother's boyfriend, who explicitly asked officers to remove her from the property. Officers attempted to de-escalate the situation and even offered the suspect a ride, but she refused their help and became highly uncooperative. When officers warned her that she needed to move along or face trespassing charges, she ignored their commands and continued to argue while on her phone. Body camera video shows the encounter turning physical as the suspect actively pulled away and resisted being placed in handcuffs. She was ultimately taken into custody and charged with trespassing and resisting arrest.
