On July 14, 2024, Medford Township Police Corporal Denning observed a vehicle drift over the white shoulder line and fail to maintain one lane of travel. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 31-year-old woman who was returning home from a Philadelphia Phillies baseball game. Because she admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the evening, she was instructed to step out of her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was eventually arrested for Operating Under the Influence. Open containers of alcohol were discovered in the vehicle. After being read the New Jersey Implied Consent Law, she agreed to provide breath samples. The result was 0.15% BAC. Because her husband was at home with the couple's 1-year-old baby, the woman was given a courtesy ride home by Corporal Denning. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
