A woman lay passed out behind the wheel, witnesses said. They guided him straight to her car. There she sat in the driver's seat of a silver 2023 Kia, unresponsive. An open bottle of booze rested in plain view on the front passenger side. Sergeant Tracy shook her awake. She turned out to be Erica. As they talked, he caught a whiff of alcohol. He spotted other clear signs she was impaired. Suspecting trouble, he told her to get out and try some sobriety tests. They started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus check. Next came the Walk and Turn. Erica stumbled on the heel-to-toe steps. She ignored his directions too. When she kept resisting, he cut the tests short. He arrested her for driving under the influence. She had full control of the car, after all. They towed her Kia for a 12-hour hold under John's Law. He drove Erica to the Audubon station for booking. Once done, officers let her leave with a sober friend. She waited for court after signing the liability warning. Sergeant Tracy handed her these tickets: Driving under the influence (39:4-50) Careless driving (39:4-97) Driving on a suspended license (39:3-40) Open container (39:4-51B) Records show Erica had four prior DWI arrests before this one. Then, on February 22, 2025, police in Barrington, New Jersey, nabbed her for possession. Soon after, on May 1, 2025, she faced her sixth DWI charge in Magnolia, New Jersey. 1:00 Emergency yeh shes outta liquor look 9:43 Her laughing asking him to do the test was so funny to me 24:11 back at the cop shop If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
