They learned the car that hit another had fled. It stopped in the ACME lot at 912 West Bay Avenue. Falkowski soon spotted a 2013 Nissan Altima with heavy front damage there. He approached the driver, a 21-year-old named Victoria. Falkowski requested her papers. She handed over only her insurance card. Victoria explained she had come from her friend's funeral that day. While talking, he smelled alcohol on her breath. He saw signs she might be drunk. Then she stepped out and vomited by the car. At that point, she confessed to downing a few shots at the funeral home before driving. Falkowski called for help over the radio. Sergeant Boyle arrived quickly. They talked it over with other cops. They decided to run sobriety tests on her. Boyle asked Victoria to do the tests. She said yes. Boyle began with the eye movement check, called Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus. Next came the Walk and Turn test, led by Falkowski. Victoria missed touching heel to toe on her steps. She didn't count out loud like told. They tried the One Leg Stand last. She couldn't finish it well. The crash, her admission about the drinks, and her poor test results led them to arrest her for drunk driving. Once in cuffs and the patrol car, her Nissan got towed by South Shore Towing. They held it 12 hours under John's Law. A quick search found eight mini bottles of Fireball Whiskey inside. Falkowski drove her to the station for more steps. There, they read her the standard rights for drivers. She agreed to give breath samples. The Alcotest showed 0.16% blood alcohol—twice the 0.08% limit. After wrapping up, they let her go with a sober friend. She signed a warning form too. Cops gave her tickets for drunk driving, reckless driving, careless driving, staying in lanes, and open container. Court papers show that on September 20, 2023, Victoria got convicted of drunk driving. Her penalties included a one-month ignition lock on her car, 12 hours at a driver resource center, and $640 in fines. The other four tickets vanished in a plea deal. 19:51 How about not driving at all, instead of crying 20:55 I thought for sure she was gonna puke all over this poor officer. 22:20 SHE WAS DRIVING?!?! 41:00 She said "Not My Fault" WOW, she Caused the accident 57:38 Ahhh .. the I only had two shots story.. why is it always one or two? 1:09:30 Wow that's an impressive emergency button! 1:11:12 That one officer who primarily delt with her is so sweet 1:12:12 If the officer would stop entertaining her annoying whiny self If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
