Future Arrest in Sea Bright: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neE8FECmW9c On August 27, 2023 around 1:16 AM, Officer Michael Stilwell and several other officers with the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department responded to a report of a disorderly male on the boardwalk near Jenkinson’s Pavilion Bar & Restaurant. He observed 2 males arguing on the boardwalk, and it appeared as if the argument was going to escalate into a physical altercation. One of the males was identified as Michael DeFelice, and he claimed that the other male was touching his girlfriend. He continued to argue with the officers and Officer Stilwell placed him under arrest for disorderly conduct (2C:33-2A(1)). Officer Arthur Gant transported Michael to the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department for further processing. At the station, Michael was photographed and briefly placed in a cell while the officers completed their paperwork. After the officers were finished with their paperwork, he was released to his girlfriend and her friend at the station. Court records indicate that on December 12, 2023, the charge was downgraded to Misbehaving (Ordinance 3-29). As a result of his charge being downgraded, Michael had to pay a total of $233 in fines. Michael was previously arrested for driving under the influence in Wall Township, New Jersey on June 24, 2023, and he was later found guilty of that on March 5, 2024.
