Upon arrival I met with the victim, who said the suspect has not lived at the residence in over 14 months and has been homeless in jacksonville. The victim said the suspect was given a trespass warning from his property the day prior. I met the suspect inside the residence. The suspect said he was released from the hospital under Baker Act and dropped off at the residence. I had Nassau Communications Center run a search, which revealed the suspect was given a trespass warning effective on 6/16/2022 that expires on 6/16/2023. I placed the suspect in handcuffs. The suspect stated he was “too weak” to walk to the patrol car and I would need to drag him to the vehicle. The suspect then stated “F*** y’all” and laid flat on his stomach. I grabbed the suspect by the handcuffs and began pulling the suspect across the floor. The suspect sat up and his mother put his shoes on. The suspect became loudly argumentative with the victim and began to brace and tense while I had control of him. I began pulling the suspect across the floor and outside the residence down the wooden ramp due to the suspect refuting to walk or stand. The suspect stated he would walk under his own power after I pulled him outside. The suspect walked to my patrol car without further incident.”
