An on-scene investigation revealed that an individual, later identified as 23-year-old Isaac Reyes of Union City, tried to go into the bar after 2 a.m., which is not permitted, to find his keys. When Reyes was told he couldn’t go inside, he became agitated and tried to force his way past the security guards. He became hostile, tried to engage the security guards in a fight, and at one point reached into his pocket to pull out a knife. Security was able to take the knife away from him, but during the struggle, Reyes bit one of them, causing minor injuries. When Police Officers arrived, Reyes was placed under arrest and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon, and certain persons not to have weapons. He was processed and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
