Police bodycam catches a Kohl’s shoplifting stop turning into a parking lot trap. Two suspects deny everything, until the cameras and the bag in the car tell a different story. Police respond to a reported shoplifting at Kohl’s and quickly locate the suspects’ car in the lot. Both insist they didn’t walk out with anything, saying they were just looking around and didn’t have money to pay. As officers press and reference store surveillance, the story starts changing. One admits the merchandise is in the car, and an officer points out the bag seen on camera. After items are found, both suspects end up in handcuffs while officers discuss what’s on video and the reported value.
