A heated domestic dispute broke out inside a barn at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, NJ. Officers responded to find Lorena Leal Miranda visibly upset in her car after a violent argument with her boyfriend Gilmer Hernandez Garcia. According to the police report: Lorena admitted slapping Gilmer across the face during a drunken argument. Gilmer responded by pushing her away in self-defense, and officers observed a visible injury on his lower lip. Because Lorena initiated the physical contact, she was identified as the primary aggressor. Officers had to use a Spanish translator to take Gilmer’s statement. Lorena was arrested for Simple Assault, processed at police headquarters, and transported to the county jail (MCCI). Gilmer wanted a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO), but the judge declined to issue it immediately due to his intoxicated state. This footage shows the complete police response — from first contact to arrest, transport, and TRO discussion. Watch how officers carefully assess injuries, gather statements in two languages, and follow domestic-violence protocol step by step. #police #bodycam #domesticviolence #domesticdispute #primaryaggressor #simpleassault #restrainingorder #lawenforcement #realbodycam #policeinvestigation #publicrecords #policeaccountability #arrested #officerresponse -------------- About Us / Disclaimer: Real World Police provides unbiased and authentic footage of incidents captured on body cams.
