He turned on his emergency lights, and the driver pulled into the Cracker Barrel parking lot at 1240 Route 73. Officer Riker approached the vehicle and identified the driver as 20-year-old Angianna Torres. Torres handed over her driver’s license, but officers found that it had been suspended because of several traffic violations. She could not provide valid registration or proof of insurance. After checking the system, Officer Riker learned that the Jeep needed to be towed. Torres was asked to leave the vehicle, and she initially complied. She received her motor vehicle summonses and was told to collect her belongings. Cioffi’s Towing arrived to impound the Jeep. While the vehicle was being prepared for towing, Torres refused to help locate its key. She then climbed back inside, locked the doors, and refused to come out. Officer Riker told her she was under arrest for obstruction, but she remained uncooperative. Officers eventually pulled her from the Jeep and placed her in handcuffs. During the removal, she kicked the officers and spit on them several times. As officers placed Torres in the patrol car, her boyfriend told them she was pregnant. Because of her behavior, officers decided to take her to a hospital instead. Officer Carley Pizzigoni of the neighboring Evesham Township Police Department arrived to search Torres. First responders then transported her to Virtua Marlton Hospital, where Officers Joy and Ring accompanied her. Torres received the following traffic citations: Driving while suspended (39:3-40) No liability insurance on a motor vehicle (39:6B-2) Unregistered motor vehicle (39:3-4) Obstruction of windshield for vision (39:3-74) Improper display or unclear plates (39:3-33) Failure to have inspection (39:8-1) She also faced criminal charges for: Obstructing administration of the law (2C:29-1A) Resisting arrest (2C:29-2A(3)(A)) Possession of a weapon with an unlawful purpose (2C:39-4D) Unlawful possession of a weapon (2C:39-5D) Subjecting a corrections employee to bodily fluid (2C:12-13) - three counts Assault on police (2C:12-1B(5)(A)) Torres had a prior DWI arrest in Medford Township, New Jersey, on March 6, 2024. On July 25, 2024, she was arrested again in Mount Laurel for assault under 2C:12-1A(1). She has also received numerous traffic violations in Delran Township, Evesham Township, Lumberton Township, Shamong Township, Moorestown, Mount Holly, Southampton, and Berlin. As of April 2, 2026, the case from this incident remained pending in Mount Laurel Municipal Court. If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
