Officers pulled up. They saw her parked half on the grass in a 2020 Honda. Her name was Anastasia McAnnaney, 25 years old. Signs of being drunk stood out right away. Sergeant William Errigo arrested her soon after. They searched the car. Found an open booze bottle inside. The Honda had scrapes outside. Looked like she hit another car first. Cops towed it for a 12-hour hold under John's Law. Officer Doug Jeffries checked her GPS. It pointed to her home. She admitted later she'd partied for St. Patrick's Day with pals. They read her the breath test rules. She said yes at first. But she fought when they tried to take her for the test. Got charged with refusal. At the station, she stayed wild the whole time. Mom showed up to grab her. Things got crazy again. Cops said hospital instead. Strapping her to the stretcher, she kicked Sergeant Errigo hard. Mom mentioned a past DUI arrest in Pennsylvania. That case waited in court. They took her to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Sergeant Errigo wrote her up for: Driving drunk. Refusing breath samples. No car insurance. Court files show November 6, 2024. The drunk driving charge dropped to reckless driving. She paid a $240 fine.
