Tampa, Florida - A Riverview man has been arrested of impersonating a law enforcement officer by using a rented SUV modified to resemble a patrol vehicle. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a trooper observed Conroy Alexis Traille, 38, driving a 2023 black Cadillac SUV, registered to Avis Rental Cars on I-4, just east of I-75. The trooper found the vehicle suspicious due to the presence of an emergency light bar mounted in the rear window, an apparent dash camera on the windshield, and windows tinted beyond the legal limit. Upon checking the vehicle's registration, an alert from April 23, 2023, indicated that a vehicle matching the description and bearing the same tag number had been suspected of impersonating a law enforcement officer while displaying red and blue lights. The trooper initiated a traffic stop for Traille following the vehicle ahead too closely. According to an affidavit, during the stop, the trooper observed additional emergency lights mounted in the front window, a computer stand with a laptop, and other police-related accessories. ✅ This channel features real event footage from the Florida Highway Patrol, captured through body cams and dash cams.
