He spotted a black Honda CR-V going nearly 90 miles per hour in a 50 zone. The driver then took the Tabor Road exit. Once off the highway, she swerved onto the wrong side of the road. She also ran a red light. The car continued south on Tabor Road, heading into Morris Plains. Officer Gosden turned on his lights. The driver stopped on the shoulder. He approached the Honda and its occupants. The driver was Juliana Geller, 19 years old. When asked why she was stopped, Juliana admitted she drove badly. She asked to speak outside the car. Juliana told Officer Gosden she had just broken up with her boyfriend. He was in the passenger seat. She explained she wanted to scare him. She believed he had cheated on her. Officer Gosden smelled alcohol. Juliana denied drinking any alcohol. Because he suspected she was impaired, Officer Gosden called for backup. Patrolman Guy Boccardi arrived to conduct sobriety tests. Sergeant Jason Ferreira also came to the scene. Sergeant Ferreira spoke with Juliana. Officer Gosden questioned the passenger. Patrolman Boccardi soon arrived to start the tests. Patrolman Boccardi began with a vision test. Next was the Walk and Turn test. Juliana did not walk heel-to-toe. She also turned the wrong way. The last test was the One Leg Stand. She could not hold her foot up right. She also counted the seconds incorrectly. Given her driving, the smell of alcohol, and poor test results, Juliana was arrested. She was charged with drunk driving. Officer Gosden took her to the Parsippany Police Department. He read her a statement about breath tests. She agreed to take one. After a 20-minute wait, Patrolman Boccardi prepared the breathalyzer. The machine did not work. Juliana was then taken to Boonton Police. They had a working Alcotest machine. Her BAC reading was 0.14% at 5:22 AM. This was almost twice the legal limit. After the test, Juliana returned to Parsippany. Her paperwork was completed. A friend picked her up. She would face a court date. Officer Gosden issued Juliana several tickets. These included underage drunk driving, reckless driving, and careless driving. Records show Juliana had a prior DWI. This occurred on April 17, 2024, in Randolph. She drove an Audi into a ditch then. 3:15 oh, God.. here comes her story with tears!!! 8:59 Cop: "...she's barreling down at 88 mph" 12:46 Omfg Patrolman Boccardi showing up to do your SFSTs is so funny 13:15 only once have I seen a cop write a ticket for a drunk driver 15:11 9 heel-to-toe tests 15:26 so we’re going to do 9 heel to toe tests.
