Around 11:06 AM on September 27, 2025, Officer Dobbs with the Palm Bay Police Department first initiated a traffic stop on another driver in the parking lot of the Bayside Lakes Shopping Center (3450 Bayside Lakes Boulevard SE, Palm Bay, Florida) based on a suspicion that the driver’s license may not be valid. After she provided him with her documents and he was about to check her information, he was flagged down by an employee of Bayside Tobacco who wanted to report a theft. The employee, Allyson Greiner, told Officer Dobbs that a woman in a blue Jeep had left the store without paying for a grinder. When she attempted to stop her and have her pay for the grinder, she refused to pay and attempted to flee in her Jeep. Officer Dobbs instructed the woman in the Jeep to stop, and detained her as he began his investigation. Since Officer Dobbs was already on another traffic stop, Officer Cameron Mitchell was called to the scene and he took over the shoplifting investigation. The woman in the Jeep, later identified as 22-year-old Jordan Renee Weber, admitted that she stole the grinder but tried to justify her actions as well. She then claimed that she had the money to pay for the items, and felt like she should not have to face any consequences for what she just did. The employee of Bayside Tobacco called the owner, and the owner told Officer Mitchell that he wanted to press charges. The value of the grinder that Jordan stole was determined to be $8.99. Since the owner wanted to press charges, Jordan was placed under arrest. After Jordan was placed under arrest, she was initially transported to Palm Bay Booking for further processing. She was charged with retail petit theft under $750 (812.014.3.A-AB) and resisting a merchant (812.015.6). After she was processed at the booking facility, she was transported to the Brevard County Jail. While being transported to the Brevard County Jail, Jordan began striking the jail van with the restraints in the cabin, which caused more than $200 worth of damages, and she was charged with criminal mischief (806.13.1.B.2-B) in addition to her other 2 charges. Jordan was eventually released on September 28, 2025 pending her court appearance after she posted a bond. Court records indicate that on December 17, 2025, Jordan’s case was disposed of in court and she had to pay a total of $595.20 in fines. Jordan has previously been arrested by the Palm Bay Police Department on charges of domestic battery (784.03(1)(a)1) on January 1, 2024. ---------------------------------------------------- Please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and consider supporting this channel (email us for more information).
