On February 10th, 2025, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspected theft at Hilliard Middle-Senior High School in Florida. The allegations involved former bookkeeper Jennifer Folliett, who was responsible for handling money collected for school clubs and activities. According to investigators, Folliett kept a portion of that cash, then used payments intended for other clubs to cover the shortages. School officials reported approximately $144,000 in losses, including more than $2,000 in allegedly personal purchases through the school’s Amazon account. Detectives also identified 148 cash deposits totaling over $124,000 in her personal bank account.
