On 10/30/2025 at 5:07 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. The police observed an individual matching the description of the actor in the area of LA Fitness located at 485 Harmon Meadow Boulevard. The involved male ran from the police and during the foot pursuit, a 29-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ was subsequently taken into custody in front of the Meadowlands Exposition Center located at 355 Plaza Drive for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law by flight [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest by flight [2C:29-2A(2)], Resisting Arrest by force [2C:29-2A(3)], Possession of CDS Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] by providing false information. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. An arrest is not a finding of guilt: that’s something for a court to decide.
