Watch this police interrogation with intense raw interrogation from the interrogation room as police conduct a full interrogation of a suspect. This raw interrogation footage captures every moment of the suspect interview, complete with deception detection techniques, and criminal psychology in true JCS style interrogation. The Background Partner of Nicholas Well; mother of their seven children (ages reported as 6 months or 4 months up to 9 years). On the evening of Oct. 19, 2025, she was walking with Well and the children along U.S. Highway 101 near Deer Park Road in Clallam County, Washington, after dark. They accepted a ride from DoorDash driver Melvin Swagerty after telling him their vehicle had been stolen and asking to be taken toward a friend’s house or Sequim. She sat in the back of Swagerty’s Lexus with the children; Well sat in the front passenger seat. Family contact that day: Deputies had already dealt with a disturbance involving the family in Sequim and with Well’s arrest and release in Port Angeles for reckless driving. Stepfather Henry Peralta later expressed regret in court coverage and suggested the couple’s relationship may have contributed to what happened. In court she appeared distraught when a judge issued no-contact orders covering all seven of her children. The Crime After the family got into Swagerty’s vehicle, they drove toward Sequim. On Carlsborg Road (260 block area) around 8:10 p.m., an altercation occurred inside the car. Prosecutors and investigators alleged she was complicit in the stabbing of Swagerty and the taking of his vehicle. Swagerty was stabbed and ended up outside the vehicle; the Lexus left the scene with Lopez-Castro, Well, and the seven children still inside. Hours later, early Oct. 20, Kitsap County deputies found the stolen Lexus parked in the middle of a road near Port Orchard. Lopez-Castro was in the front passenger seat; Well was in the driver’s seat. Both were described as passed out. The children were in the vehicle; some lacked proper clothing or car seats. The Investigation Investigators recovered a bloody knife from Well’s pocket and significant blood in the driver’s area of the Lexus. Clallam County Sheriff’s Office stated investigators determined Lopez-Castro was complicit in the stabbing. She was arrested with Well on Kitsap County charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and reckless endangerment (domestic violence). Initial Kitsap bail: $100,000 for her (vs. $500,000 for Well). All seven children were taken into protective custody and referred to Child Protective Services. No-contact orders protected both Swagerty and the children. Attributed statement to detectives (from court-document reporting): she said the pair were paranoid that people were after them and wanted to kill their family because Well knew the location of a “secret biker dope recipe,” and they thought Swagerty was working with that group. Clallam County later charged her (same as Well) with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and theft of a motor vehicle, with a deadly-weapon enhancement and a Good Samaritan aggravator. Clallam bail: $750,000. Conviction and Sentencing First Kitsap appearances: she was present when no-contact orders for the children were issued; coverage described her as distraught. Transferred to Clallam County Jail. Clallam court: first appearance mid-November 2025; bail set at $750,000; assigned counsel Alex Stalker. Plea: not guilty on Nov. 14, 2025. As of Jan. 26, 2026 reporting: still held on $750,000 bond. A six-day joint trial with Well had been set for Jan. 12, 2026, then continued. Her attorney said he needed his own expert (separate from Well’s) and asked to reset the trial. Judge Simon Barnhart scheduled a reset hearing for Feb. 27, 2026. No verdict or sentence had been publicly reported as of the latest available coverage in January 2026. true crime, law and crime network, interrogation, interrogation analysis, red thread interrogations, interrogation jcs inspired, interrogation jcs style, interrogation psychology, interrogation psychology jcs inspired, new interrogations 2026,interrogation breakdown, police interrogation psychology, bodycam, interview, case analysis, bodycam footage, crime investigation, police interrogation, suspect interview, int, interrogations 2026,interrogation videos, jcs true crime
