#CrimeCamNow On June 7, 2022, Chamblee police officer on a routine patrol pulled over a vehicle with fake tag near Hometowne Studios in Chamblee, Georgia. The driver initially claimed innocence, stating that he had just purchased the car and was unaware of any wrongdoing. The officer, aiming for cooperation, proposed leniency in exchange for information about the source of the fake tags in the area. The driver, under pressure, pointed to someone named Samuel, alleging that he sold him the fraudulent tag and resided at Hometowne Studios in Chamblee. However, the situation took a bizarre twist when the officer checked the driver's license, it turned out to belong to an entirely different person. The driver explained that he had also acquired the license from Samuel, asserting he was unaware that it's not real. Unconvinced by the driver's explanation, the officer made the arrest. The charges included forgery in the first degree and driving without a valid license. The driver was then transported to the DeKalb County Jail, leaving behind a trail of questions about the mysterious Samuel and the underground world of fake tags in Chamblee.
