On May 29, 2023, Roswell NM police officers responded to a disabled vehicle in traffic. The driver, a 22 year-old female, had somehow damaged the right front-end of her vehicle so badly that the car would no longer move forward. She immediately admitted to drinking alcohol. After a quick set of field sobriety exercises, she was arrested for DUI. She eventually blew a 0.24/0.24 on a evidentiary breath testing device at the police station.
