On September 7, 2023, at approximately 16:15 hours, officers responded to a restaurant in Florida following a dispute. The female subject called 911, reporting that the valet hadn't provided a ticket for her vehicle, and they couldn't locate it. Dispatch noted that the subject was slurring her words during the call. She identified her vehicle as a blue Range Rover. The restaurant manager later contacted dispatch expressing concern that the female subject might be intoxicated and worried about her driving. The manager mentioned that the subject was currently in her vehicle, and the staff had offered to call an Uber for her. Subsequently, a witness informed dispatch that the subject had nearly driven over the curb, prompting staff to intervene and prevent her from driving. When a police officer spoke with the witness, they reported that the valet had refused to give the subject the keys due to her condition. The witness added that the subject must have had a second key, as she entered a Range Rover and attempted to exit through the valet entrance. This is the body cam footage of the events that followed.
