Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRR8mwAbunVnH6sjHo86biw/join Disclaimer: This video is presented for educational and informational purposes only. The information is based on an Arkansas State Police incident report. Charges and allegations are presented as documented or reasonably indicated by the report and should not be interpreted as a final determination of guilt. Description On September 14, 2026, Arkansas State Police Trooper Collier Wright responded to an unfolding pursuit involving a gold Toyota Corolla in Crittenden County. According to the report, West Memphis Police initially reported that the vehicle was failing to yield. Officers also reported that a train was blocking the roadway, forcing the vehicle to turn around and continue in another direction. As officers continued monitoring the vehicle, they reported several concerning driving behaviors. The Corolla allegedly passed tractor-trailers while crossing double yellow lines and drove through residential yards. Officers also reported that the vehicle was being operated erratically. Trooper Wright approached the vehicle without lights and sirens before eventually making contact. When the driver noticed the trooper, the vehicle accelerated, reportedly causing the driver to lose traction and nearly crash during a turn. The trooper then activated his emergency equipment and attempted to bring the vehicle to a stop. The driver continued driving and repeatedly attempted to get around the patrol vehicle. Trooper Wright ultimately positioned his patrol vehicle in front of the Corolla and slowed it until it stopped on the shoulder. West Memphis officers then assisted in taking the driver into custody. A particularly important detail is that a 3-year-old child was inside the vehicle and was secured in a car seat. DHS responded and took custody of the child. Incident Details Date: September 14, 2026 Time: Approximately 3:05 PM Location: Crittenden County, Arkansas Initial Location: Missouri Road / Interstate 40 area Vehicle: 2006 Toyota Corolla Color: Gold Arkansas Plate: BGX43H Officer: Trooper Collier Wright #574 Agency: Arkansas State Police, Troop D Additional Officers: West Memphis Police Department Child Passenger: 3-year-old, secured in a car seat Vehicle Status: Impounded Towing Service: Cliff Carter's Body Shop & Wrecker Service The report states that the vehicle had expired tags and no insurance. It also identifies the driver's license status as suspended. Pursuit Highlights West Memphis Police initially reported a vehicle failing to yield. A train blocked one route, causing the vehicle to turn around. The vehicle reportedly had expired tags. Officers reported a broken rear window. A rear door reportedly swung open during sharp turns. A 3-year-old child was inside the vehicle. Officers observed the vehicle driving erratically. The vehicle reportedly passed tractor-trailers across double yellow lines. The vehicle allegedly drove through residential yards. Officers initially believed the driver might be highly intoxicated. Trooper Wright approached without lights and sirens. The driver accelerated after noticing the trooper. The vehicle nearly lost control during a sharp turn. Trooper Wright activated his lights and sirens. The driver continued accelerating and positioned the vehicle in the middle of the roadway. The trooper passed the vehicle and positioned himself in front of it. The driver repeatedly attempted to get around the patrol vehicle. Trooper Wright slowed the vehicle until it stopped. The vehicle stopped extremely close to the patrol vehicle. West Memphis officers assisted with the arrest. Possible Charges Fleeing by Vehicle Reckless Driving Driving While License Suspended No Liability Insurance Expired / Improper Registration Seat Belt Violation The report states that the driver was not wearing a seat belt when removed from the vehicle. Arkansas law generally requires drivers and front-seat passengers to wear a properly adjusted and fastened seat belt. Child Passenger Safety I would not automatically list this as a charge based on this report. The report specifically states that the 3-year-old child was secured in a car seat. Arkansas law requires appropriate child restraint for children under 15, with specific requirements based on age and weight. So, unlike the driver's seat-belt issue, the report does not provide evidence that the child was improperly restrained. Important Note About Intoxication The report says a West Memphis officer believed the driver appeared to be highly intoxicated. However, Trooper Wright's report states that SFSTs were conducted at the jail and the driver did not appear to be intoxicated. Therefore, I would not put DWI/DUI in the charges section based on this report alone. #ArkansasStatePolice #PolicePursuit #Dashcam
