Watch this crazy video as a police officer loses qualified immunity for walking in a backyard without a warrant! I expose the basic legal theory: cops are not allowed to walk upon the curtilage of your home or walk through an unsecured gate unless they have a warrant or reasonable, articulable suspicion of a crime. The curtilage of your home is a protected area. Just because a gate is unsecured doesn't mean a cop can just come onto private property to "make sure that you're okay." When a cop unlawfully enters your property, he risks losing qualified immunity by violating your Fourth Amendment rights. This officer is clearly wrong. #RidingsLawGroup #NashvilleCriminalLawyer #CriminalDefenseLawyer #DrJudge #NashvilleCriminalAttorney
