Around 11:41 PM on June 28, 2026, Patrolman Jeffrey Kind with the Mount Ephraim Police Department responded to CVS (24 South Black Horse Pike) on a report of a shoplifting in progress. The suspects were described as 2 white females who were placing items into their pockets while walking through the store. Patrolman Kind located the first female in the parking lot, and she was eventually identified as Christine Sanfelice. Sergeant Errigo made contact with the other female inside the store, and she was eventually identified as Mollyann Todd. It was obvious that Christine intended to steal the items, so Christine was placed under arrest for shoplifting by Patrolman Kind. Sergeant Errigo noticed that Mollyann was in possession of paraphernalia, so she was placed under arrest for possession. Both were separately to the Mount Ephraim Police Department for further processing. At the station, they were photographed, fingerprinted, and advised of their charges. Christine was charged with shoplifting under $200 (2C:20-11B(1)). Mollyann was charged with shoplifting under $200 (2C:20-11B(1)) and possession (2C:35-10C). Mollyann was released on a summons pending her court appearance. Christine was found to have outstanding warrants out of the Mount Laurel Police Department, Upper Allen Township Police Department, Camden County Sheriff’s Office, and Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office. After the officers finished processing Mollyann, she was eventually turned over to the Mount Laurel Police Department. Court records indicate that as of August 15, 2026, both Mollyann and Christine have failed to appear in court to answer for their charges in Mount Ephraim. Both individuals also have extensive prior criminal histories with numerous prior arrests. ---------------------------------------------- Please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and consider supporting this channel (email us for more information). (P.L. 2024, c.16). Defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty. The New Jersey Supreme Court has previously affirmed in Salzano v. North Jersey Media Group, 993 A.2d 778 (2010) that “The fair-report privilege reflects the judgment that the need, in a self-governing society, for free-flowing information about matters of public interest outweighs concerns over the uncompensated injury to a person's reputation.” This video advances a compelling public interest. The summary of events was based on records that are “open to public view through open access to public records” as defined in the Salzano case. In Ramos v. Flowers, 429 N.J. Super. 13, the Appellate Division of the Superior Court has also affirmed the right to film law enforcement interactions.
