Watch this police interrogation with intense raw interrogation from the interrogation room as police conduct a full interrogation of a suspect. This raw interrogation footage captures every moment of the suspect interview, complete with deception detection techniques, and criminal psychology in true JCS style interrogation. The Background Angela Renee Jones (then about 33, of St. Cloud) knew Janesa Lashay Harris, 28, of St. Cloud. Harris had cared for Jones and her children. Investigators later cited statements in which Jones said she did not want Harris around her or in her life. Keisa Marie Lange, 25, of Litchfield, was killed the next day. Prosecutors did not treat motive as an element they had to prove. Trial evidence included texts that Lange “talk[ed] too much” and may have known about the Harris killing. Court coverage also referenced drug and sex-trafficking allegations in the broader investigation; those were not proven as the motive. Others charged in Lange’s death: DeAntae Demond Davis (the shooter, per Jones’s admission and the jury verdict), Alicia Michelle Lewis (the driver), and Kenneth Jamal Carter (later acquitted). The Crime Harris: Between the late evening of June 1 and the early morning of June 2, 2021, Jones went to Harris’s apartment in the 1400 block of North 12th Avenue, St. Cloud (Stearns County file 73-CR-21-8731). During an argument, Jones formed the intent to kill her and fired one bullet into Harris’s mouth. Harris fell. Officers found her dead shortly before 9:30 a.m. on June 2. The medical finding was a gunshot wound; the death was ruled a homicide. Lange: On the morning of June 3, 2021, Lange was taken in a white Ford Fusion to a dead-end area in the 4300 block of Cooper Avenue South. Jones admitted she was in the back seat on the other side of Lange when Davis shot and killed Lange. The body was removed from the car and left at the end of the cul-de-sac. Witnesses reported four or five shots between about 8:45 and 9 a.m. and a white four-door sedan leaving northbound. Lange died of a single gunshot wound to the head; the death was ruled a homicide. The Investigation The bodies were found on successive days. Police noted similarities between the shootings. Jones was in custody by June 8, 2021, after probable cause tied her to Lange’s death, and remained jailed. The Ford Fusion was found the day after Lange’s death at Jones’s residence in the 600 block of North 8th Avenue. Surveillance showed the car near where Lange had been staying; witnesses placed Lange in the car with Jones, Davis, Lewis, and Carter, including at a south-side gas station. A recorded jail call captured Jones saying she “got the message” and referring to a house near the recovery site. In another call described in the complaint, she said Davis shot Lange in the car and that she told the men to get Lange out of the car. Jones later told police Davis was the shooter and described the clothing, phone, and vehicle cleanup. Lewis pleaded guilty to aiding an offender after the fact and gave a full confession used in the other cases. An early charging document dated the Harris shooting to May 31; the county attorney’s sentencing release places it between the late hours of June 1 and the early hours of June 2, 2021. Conviction and Sentencing Jones: In June 2023 she entered an Alford plea to second-degree intentional murder for Harris (first-degree murder dismissed). She also pleaded guilty to aiding an offender after the fact in Davis’s murder of Lange, and to promoting prostitution for conduct between February 28 and March 4, 2023, while in jail. On August 25, 2023, Judge Nathaniel Welte imposed concurrent terms of 300 months (Harris, 73-CR-21-8731), 146 months (Lange, 73-CR-21-3952), and 131 months (prostitution, 73-CR-23-4215), the lengths set by Minnesota sentencing guidelines. Davis: A Stearns County jury on April 28, 2023, found him guilty of all counts, including first-degree premeditated murder (73-CR-21-3970). On July 31, 2023, Judge Sarah E. Hennesy sentenced him to life in prison without release, the statutory penalty. Lewis: Pleaded guilty to aiding an offender. On November 13, 2023, Judge Heidi Schultz sentenced her to seven years, with credit for 886 days, and joint restitution of $38,300 with Jones and Davis. Carter: Acquitted of all charges by a Stearns County jury in March 2023. true crime, law and crime network, interrogation, interrogation analysis, red thread interrogations, interrogation jcs inspired, interrogation jcs style, interrogation psychology, interrogation psychology jcs inspired, new interrogations 2026,interrogation breakdown, police interrogation psychology, bodycam, interview, case analysis, bodycam footage, crime investigation, police interrogation, suspect interview, int, interrogations 2026,interrogation videos, jcs true crime
