The Akron Police were dispatched to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed a partially open front door that appeared to have been kicked in and an open window in the rear of the residence. Officers observed at least one male suspect inside of the residence and made several announcements. The suspects, later identified as Mark and Alexander, eventually made themselves known from behind the attached garage door and exited through the garage. Both suspects were placed under arrest without further incident. Officers conducted a protective sweep of the residence where no other subjects were found to be inside. The homeowner was not present at the time due to being incarcerated at the county jail. No contact was able to be made to verify that the suspects had permission to be in the residence. Due to the totality of the circumstances, both suspects were charged with burglary. ⚠️Note: Footage from this video was obtained via the Ohio Public Records Act (R.C. 149.43) All persons featured on the channel are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
