On August 12, 2024, officers responded to reports of a woman carrying a baby, damaging property, and attacking neighbors. Witnesses confirmed she had shattered a window, attempted to break into a house, and assaulted others. Allegedly intoxicated, she had been sleeping in bushes before the incident. Officers located her in her apartment, where she resisted arrest and gave conflicting statements about the child’s father. Despite her protests, she was charged with criminal damage, disorderly conduct, and assault. Concerned for the baby’s safety, authorities placed the child under CPS custody.
