Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office respond to a tense domestic violence call at a local gas station. A woman is found hiding in the storage room for her safety after her boyfriend reportedly got physical with her. But when deputies arrive, she refuses to cooperate. Despite her silence, deputies begin investigating and track down the boyfriend. After a confrontation, he breaks down and confesses. What happens next shocks everyone.. She turns emotional and begins defending him. One deputy even compares the case to the Gabby Petito situation, noting how emotionally complex and dangerous these incidents can be.
