On August 6, 2022, Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper White was dispatched to a single vehicle crash in Franklin Township, Ohio. When he arrived, he noticed a white Ford truck stuck in the ditch on the side of the roadway. An 18-year-old female indicated that she was the driver of the truck. However, she did not recall what happened or how the truck ended up in the ditch. Trooper White examined the inside of the truck and noticed numerous beer cans throughout the cabin. However, the woman denied several times that she had consumed any alcohol. Despite that, Trooper White decided to administer standardized field sobriety tests to the woman. Upon the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest for DUI. She and her male passenger were transported to the Highway Patrol Post, where she submitted to an evidential breath test. The result was 0.174% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of the case are discussed at the end of the video.
