The Hyundai was going south on White Horse Pike. Wilce followed the 2020 car. The driver swerved and almost hit a bus. Wilce turned on his lights to stop the car. The driver stopped on Crestwood Avenue. This was near White Horse Pike in Somerdale. Patrolman Wilce spotted Sophie, age 22, weaving between lanes. Sophie admitted to Wilce she lacked a valid license. The officer smelled alcohol and noticed other signs of trouble. Sophie said she was traveling from Haddonfield toward Lindenwold. Later, they learned she had driven from Philadelphia home first. Then she had gone to visit a friend. Wilce asked her to say the alphabet from "C" to "Y." She could not do it right. Patrolman Paris got to the scene. He asked Sophie to get out of the car. He thought she was impaired. She had to do field sobriety tests. The first test was Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN). Patrolman Wilce watched her eyes. He saw they didn't move smoothly. Her eyes jerked at the extreme edge. Sophie didn't follow directions. He couldn't check when the jerking started. Next was the Walk and Turn test. Sophie didn't touch heel-to-toe. She took the wrong number of steps. Her turn was not correct. Finally, she did the One Leg Stand test. Sophie did not raise her foot right. She put her foot down too soon. Sophie’s driving was all over the place. Patrolman Wilce smelled booze. Sophie also said she drank before driving. She failed the roadside tests too. Wilce arrested Sophie for drunk driving. John's Law meant her car got towed. It would be held for 12 hours. Next, they took her to the police station. There, she would be processed. Sophie listened as the Magnolia Police read her the motor vehicle statement. She agreed to give breath samples for testing. The Alcotest showed her BAC was 0.21%. That's almost triple the 0.08% legal limit. Later, Patrolman Wilce went to Sophie’s home. He met her mother and step-father. He needed them to sign a liability form for Sophie. She then got several tickets. These included: driving under the influence, reckless driving, and careless driving. She also failed to stop at a light. More tickets came for not signaling, not having a license, and no insurance card. The final tickets were for no registration and not staying in marked lanes. Court records indicate that Sophie was later cited again for leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage in Haddon Township, New Jersey on November 19, 2023. 9:40 Let’s go to 12. 11:20 mark she did the bunny hop-karate kid 29:29 and 5 months later the spoiled brat left the scene of an accident.
